SunRise Credit Union participates in a charity event

On October 3, 2009, SunRise Credit Union participated in the second annual Meyers Norris Penny—Street Hockey Tournament. Eight teams participated in the event which was held in Brandon at Stanley Park. SunRise Credit Union rose to the occasion and won the whole tournament. A total of $1668 was raised for charity; as A side winners we selected Westman Dreams for Kids and the B side winners, Vanguard Credit Union selected the Canadian Blood Services as their charity.

It was a cold and wet, dreary day, but we all had fun!
