Safety Deposit Boxes
Safety deposit boxes will store your precious items, protecting them from theft, fire or any other hazard.
Features
- You have access to your safety deposit box to take out or put in anything you wish.
- Can be for personal or business use.
- You designate the people who can enter the box – no one else has access.
- Two keys are issued as the time of the lease agreement
- Access to your S/D Box is granted by the CU master key being used before your key. Both keys are necessary to open the box.
- Various sizes to choose from.
- Upon death - documents can be released to properly authorized persons such as your spouse and/or executrix/executor.
- Must have a Membership to rent a safety deposit box.
Insurance
- SunRise Credit Union is unable to provide insurance on what is stored in members’ safety deposit boxes as the contents are confidential and known only to the member. However the locations of SunRise’s S/D boxes are in our vaults, which are fire resistant and securely locked under dual combinations. If insurance is still an issue to the member, they can contact their insurance agent to arrange coverage.

- Prices vary dependant on size. Some discounts apply with certain accounts.
