Effective December 3, 2019, the Oakburn branch will be undergoing a change in its operating hours. The new hours for the branch will be 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The branch will be closed from 12:00 to 12:30 p.m. each of those days for lunch.

The decision to reduce the hours of operation at the Oakburn branch came after a review of staffing needs at both Oakburn and nearby branches. The review indicated that Tuesday and Friday were the most popular days for our members to use the in-branch services at Oakburn.  Providing banking services on the two busiest days of the week will increase operating efficiencies, freeing up resources to continue improving products and services.

Many Oakburn members already use the full services at the Shoal Lake, Strathclair and Sandy Lake branches, and we anticipate they will continue to do so when in-branch services are required outside of the local operating hours.  In addition, members will continue to have the ability to access financial services by phone, through online banking and through our mobile app.
