Sunrise Credit Union supports Truth and Reconciliation Week (September 27 to October 3, 2021) as part of our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Our Brandon branch at 2305 Victoria Avenue collects donation items for the Brandon Bear Clan until October 1.

The Bear Clan is most in need of these items:

• New underwear for men and women, all sizes 
• Heavy winter mitts for men and women 
• Runners – for men sized 9-11 and women sizes 8-10 
• Boots – for men sizes 9-11 and women sizes 8-10 
• Neckwarmers in dark colors 
• Oatmeal packets 
• Instant soup packets 
• Tea 
• Sandwich-size Ziplock bags

In addition to accepting donations on behalf of the Brandon Bear Clan, Sunrise Credit Union contributes financially in crucial areas, including the ceremonial fire that will burn during Truth and Reconciliation Week and taking part in the Corporate Tipi Challenge.

During Truth and Reconciliation Week, Sunrise Credit Union encourages our staff, members, and our communities at large to invest some time to reflect and consider your role in reconciliation today and in the future, at home, at work, and in your community.
