Minto, Manitoba, is a small community located in the Rural Municipality of Whitewater.

Situated just west of Highway 10 mid-way between Souris and Boissevain, Minto is surrounded by agricultural land.

Founded as a railway point for the Canadian Pacific Railway, the town was named after Gilbert Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound, Earl of Minto, who was Governor General of Canada at the time.
