It is not an annual rate but a maximum return over the term of your Sunrise Credit Union Linked GIC. The Maximum Full Term Return is indicated in your Investment Directions.

100% guarantee on your investment: A commitment by Sunrise Credit Union that the full amount of your original investment (the principal) will be returned to you, regardless of market conditions or investment performance, provided all terms and conditions are met.

Annual Guaranteed Minimum Interest Rate: is an annualized return of the Minimum Guaranteed Return, expressed as a percentage rate. The Annual Guaranteed Minimum Interest Rate is specified in your Investment Directions.

Maximum Annual Compound Rate of Return: The highest possible annual growth rate of an investment, calculated on a compounded basis, that the investment could achieve over a specified period. It represents the theoretical upper limit of returns assuming the investment grows at a consistent rate each year and all conditions or caps set by the investment are met.
